I'm not picking Solana or Aptos. I'm not picking, like, one over the other. The reality is, especially when you're running, like, a centralized exchange, it's AWS versus Solana. Right? Like, where the gas fees are your cloud services fees, you're doing 50,000, you know, transactions per second off chain, and that's okay because it's a it's a it's a it's an order book. The settlement is starting to go on chain. We're starting to see that with the likes of, like, a hyperliquid that's hybrid c five, d five. And so I think that, like, my prediction is over time, we've become agnostic. And we just
quick shout out to today's sponsor, Katana. We'll hear more about Katana and their ongoing pre deposit campaign later today. But for now, let's get into the episode.

I think we're all good. We're gonna get it started. Thanks for coming out, guys. Wanna get into talking about consumer crypto. I'm Danny Kaye from the Blockwork Blockworks research team. Consumer crypto apps and products are probably what have me most excited right now, so happy to have all these guys on. We've got Vishal from True Markets. We've got Pat Kim with Narrative and Sal Kadir with Bullpen. Sorry. Sorry. I almost blanked there. I wanna get right into it, guys, and I'll let you do some quick intros. Just tell us about what you're building, why you're building it, and, maybe who you're
I could start. So background on myself. I was at Circle as head of USDC at launch. I left there to join Coinbase's head of exchange, pre IPO. We took it from 20 assets to 235, launched perpetual futures and US futures, out of my team. Same team that bought Durabit recently. I left, with my cofounder. My cofounder and I have known each other for seventeen years. This is our fifth business together, ex ex Goldman, ex Coinbase. And we're building True Markets. True Markets is a hybrid c five, d five platform, that enables spot trading in The United States for everything from Bitcoin, Ethereum, So
Pat. Yeah. Hi, everyone. My name is Patrick. I'm cofounder of Narrative. Before Narrative, I used to be in college. I dropped out six months ago to come build Narrative full time with my cofounder. Yeah. And that narrative, we're building the first ever protocol that lets you trade on chain or off chain data in real time. So you as a user are able to take levered long or short positions on things like, prediction markets, Solana REV, hyper liquid market share. Literally any set of data we can make a market for. And in the future, we'll expand out into, like, web two based markets. So you could
Hey, guys. Sol Kadir, cofounder and CEO of Bullpen. Bullpen is all about making trading on chain as easy as humanly possible. We we currently just support Solana and HyperLiquid. We're very opinionated by what we enable. And by easy to use, we're talking about embedded wallets on and off ramps and an opinionated UI that helps people discover great assets to trade, have the best data, have the best execution possible, in one cohesive interface. The reason why we're working on this is, in my opinion, some of the most crypto is mostly useful for issuing and trading assets, and we wanna hyperfocus
Thanks, guys. So each of your apps, you know, or or products, we're getting into a consumer focuse
