Bullish

ZKPROOFS— ZK proofs are seen as a promising technology for blockchain scalability and interoperability due to their ability to be arbitrarily aggregated, making them highly efficient for serving thousands of blockchains.
INTEROP— While current interoperability protocols face challenges with high fees and slow speeds, there's significant potential for improvement in this space, particularly in reducing costs and increasing efficiency for medium-sized transfers.
MODULAR— The blockchain industry is moving towards a more modular architecture, similar to Polkadot's vision of on-demand rollups with parachains and para threads. This area is currently underexplored and has significant potential for innovation.
LAYERONE— There's a trend towards high-performance blockchain solutions with increased functionality, potentially relying on Data Availability for slash channels while maintaining most of the stack in their own nodes for optimal performance.

Bearish

INTBRIDGES— Intent-based bridges are expected to be phased out in the long term, replaced by ZK-based, lifetime-based solutions that allow for minting of any assets without the need for solvers to manage inventory.
