Marc: The most profitable protocol on earth are DAOs. But some VCs are trying to convince you that DAOs are bad because they want you to sell a token. At the end of the day, we see what works. Bitcoin works. Ethereum works.
Maker works. Avi works. And, we believe there's still room for innovation.

Mike: Hey, everyone. Welcome back to another episode of Bell Curve. This was a interview that I did with Mark Zeller, of ACI and has been a day 1 contributor to AVE, the DAO. This was a fascinating discussion. I had a lot of fun talking to Mark.
Initially, I wanted to have him on to discuss Umbrella and the Avanomics update. So it's a set of interrelated proposals that are coming down the pipe, which is actually a really big change to Avan that has big implications for the token, the structure of the protocol in general, investors, which I thought was fascinating, but we actually had a much more broad reaching conversation around Mark's history and background and how he got involved in crypto, what he thinks about DAO governance, and how he started to get involved with AAVE. We get deep into the structural changes that are coming down
So there's been some drama this last weekend of Betgo selling the majority stake there and, some potential security risks around wrapped Bitcoin, which is a big piece of collateral in e DeFi today. So this was a really interesting conversation, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did. Alright, everyone. Welcome back to another episode of Bell Curve. Today, I'm joined by the one and only Mark Zeller.
