Speaker 0: I think it's futile to try to defend ETH as the pristine collateral anyway. A big reason for that is the roll up centric roadmap of Ethereum. Right? So we're already saying we don't want people to use the Ethereum based layer. We want them to use, you know, other execution environments.
We want them to use layer twos. I think more likely than not, like, the idea of Eve as pristine creditor will die out with or without staking release. So that's nothing when you ask me, like, should this be a goal of Ethereum's monetary policy? I would say absolutely not. I think quite the opposite if if anything.
Right? Like, if we are committed to the roll up central road map, then we should try to push as many people, like, as possible away from ETH on layer 1 towards ETH on layer 2.
Speaker 1: Hey, everyone. This episode is brought to you by Namata, the shielded asset hub rewarding you to protect the multichain. So not only can you protect your own data across any asset in any chain, but you also get shielding rewards for strengthening data privacy protections for everyone. You're gonna be hearing all about them later in the program. Everyone, this episode is brought to you by Kinto, the safety first l 2, which is accelerating the transition to the on chain financial system.
