Speaker 0: Forward guidance is brought to you by VanEck, a global leader in asset management since 1955. You'll be hearing more about a VanEck ETF later on, but for now, let's get into today's interview. Very pleased to welcome back to forward guidance Sutrini, a stock picker and trader who's been on this program 2 times before and over the past year has, quite an impressive track record. So when Tetrini first came on, in on June 2, 2023, that was when he filmed it. It aired later on in June.
He had just set up his AI baskets, investing in artificial intelligence, and that basket as we stand, here today on June 15th over a year later is up somewhere around 60 to 70 percent, and the entire Citroen index or Citroen Dex from May 30th 2 2023 to June 2, 2024 is up 100%. So congratulations to Satrini. Welcome. Congrats on the great performance.
Speaker 1: Thanks a lot, Jack. I appreciate it.
Speaker 0: Let's dig into his performance. So some of that performance has come from the AI beneficiaries, Nvidia, SMCI, that kind of stuff. Some of it came from GOP ones or, you know, Ozempic type, investments, which we we've not discussed really on either podcast, but you did discuss on the the Oddlast podcast, last year, which was excellent. Some of them came from fiscal beneficiaries, which we will be talking about today and particularly how it comes to the upcoming election. And a lot, was from interest rates, interestingly.
But, Satrini, I I just wanna say when it comes to the overall market right now, how are you feeling? You have been indefatigable bowl, which has worked out quite well. But you you wrote on Twitter recently, she last night, you wrote that the vibes are starting to shift, I
Speaker 1: think.
Speaker 0: What do you mean by that?
Speaker 1: The thing about the environment right now is we've kind of hit this point where we're gonna find out. Right? We we've gone back and forth. Is it gonna be a soft landing? Is it gonna be a reacceleration of inflation?
Is it gonna be a recession? If anything, you know, that constant wall of worry has driven returns. Right? And now we're in a situation where I think over the next 6 to 12 months, we're gonna have our answer. Right?
