Alright. Hopefully, we have some press in this room because Shervin is dropping some absolute heater one liners there. I love it. Okay. Super excited for this next panel here. We got a whole bunch of great folk talking about the next wave of institutional crypto products. So we got James Seyfert from Bloomberg who I view as ETF GCR here. We got John Patrick Mullen from Mantra. We got Robert Leshner from Super State. We got Jeff Park, who I view as options and derivatives, GCR. And finally, we got Amber, Suburan from Keiko. So give it up for them. This is gonna be a great panel.
Alright. While we all get seated, well, I'm gonna let each one of the panelists introduce themselves, tell a little about their firms and what they do. Briefly, I am I work at Bloomberg Intelligence. I write research about the asset management industry and do a lot of coverage of research of anything that overlaps between TradFi and DeFi in the asset management space. But let's start by going down the line, Robert. Yeah.
I'm Robert Leshner. I'm the CEO of Superstate. We're an asset management firm that's tokenizing the products we create. I'm more well known as, the host of the Chopping Block podcast, if anyone in crypto listens to that. And I formerly founded Compound. Hi.
I'm Ambre Soubiran. I'm the CEO of Kyco. Kyco is a market data and analytics and index company in the crypto space. Hi,
everyone. I'm John Patrick Mullen or JP, CEO and cofounder of Mantra. We're a purpose built, reward asset focused layer one blockchain. Recently received unique licensing from Vara, which is the Dubai, virtual asset regulator for brokerage exchange, and asset management, all natively on chain, DeFi specific. And we're one of the largest, real asset, you know, tokens by market cap. Amazing.
Hi, everybody. I'm Jeff Park. I'm the head of alpha strategies at Bitwise asset management. Most of you guys will know us for having have the Bitcoin spot ETF, but we're also famous for having the world's largest crypto index fund, which has been around now for a long time. We are seven years old. We have about hundred people. We manage over $10,000,000,000 in assets today, which is a remarkable thing as a crypto company here in The United States.
Yeah. So, I'm a data guy. Amber obviously focuses a lot on data. Jeff is primarily funds and ETFs. And then we have Robert and JP that are gonna talk about the real world asset tokenization side of things. So we got a lot of different avenues to cover, and I apologize in advance if it seems sporadic, but hopefully, we'll keep it lively. Why don't we start with Robert? You just there was some big news with Super State, in the last day. What? Let's get kicked off with, like, the one thing that tokenization arguably has found product market fit. The one thing that, in my mind, crypto has found pr
Yeah. Absolutely. So the first major, you know, real world asset that got popular on blockchains were stable coins. You know, people said, oh, let's take a dollar from off chain and put it on chain in the form of a token. Super popular. There's, like, $200,000,000,000 of stablecoins. Everybody loves them. The second, you know, successful, you know, direction of RWAs is definitely tokenized treasuries. You know, after stablecoins, it's like, well, if you can take a dollar and put it on chain, what about taking a super safe, you know, short term interest rate producing asset and put it on chain?
I let's keep this conversational. So if anyone has anything to add or chime in, feel free to do it. But, I guess you you kinda talked about the the real use of tokenization
