Market views

Bullish

NEURALINK— Neuralink is positioned as a leader in neurotechnology with Elon Musk's backing and strong technical team. The company is working on reading/writing to the nervous system and is part of the broader AI/biotech convergence that will define the next decade.
META— Meta is positioned as one of the 'big four' companies leading brain exploration and neurotechnology. Zuckerberg is described as extremely smart about neuroscience, and Meta is fundamentally a neuroscience/biotech company disguised as an AI company.
OPENAI— OpenAI is positioned as one of the 'big four' leading brain exploration. Sam Altman is described as extremely smart about neuroscience, and OpenAI is fundamentally a neuroscience/biotech company, not just an LLM company.
ANTHROPIC— Anthropic is positioned as one of the 'big four' leading brain exploration. Dario came up through neuroscience and is working on neurotechnology, making Anthropic fundamentally a neuroscience/biotech company.
NEUROTECHNOLOGY— Neurotechnology sector is positioned for major growth with non-invasive brain reading/writing technologies coming to market. Eye mask sleep technologies are 7-12 months from release, and implantable vagal stimulators will become mainstream within 12 months. The field will see a surge of accessible technologies in 2027-2028.
BIOTECH— The major AI/tech companies (Meta, OpenAI, Anthropic, Neuralink) are fundamentally biotech companies focused on neuroscience. The convergence of AI and biotech, particularly in reading/writing to the nervous system, represents a major investment opportunity.
HERACYTE— Heracyte is mentioned as one of the companies screening embryos for IVF and genetic traits, positioned in the growing genetic engineering/screening market.
ORCHID— Orchid is mentioned as one of the companies screening embryos for IVF and genetic traits, positioned in the growing genetic engineering/screening market.

Bearish

HEALTHMEDIA— The public health discourse and media space is described as a disaster with low quality content and theatrics dominating. The field is expected to go into a downturn in 2027-2028 as the noise dies down before serious science-based educators emerge.
TRADFI— Traditional media is described as trying to slow down progress in neurotechnology and health innovation, creating friction rather than value. The traditional medical establishment is resistant to patients gaining more access to their own health data.

Not investment advice.
