Market views

Bullish

APPLIEDAI— Applied AI companies building vertical-specific solutions with deep integration will capture massive value as they become 'black holes' for talent and capital, with execution bars higher than ever but tailwinds from AI enabling 100x better products in enterprise sales.
FINTECH— Financial technology infrastructure and capital markets platforms will see massive transformation as AI enables automation of previously human-dependent workflows, creating opportunities for new exchanges and transaction venues in private markets.
PRIVATEMARKETS— Private markets infrastructure represents massive opportunity as AI enables standardization of previously unstructured data, potentially automating transactions in sponsor-owned businesses, secondaries, and private credit that were previously relationship-dependent.

Bearish

TRADFI— Traditional financial services firms face their first major innovator's dilemma in decades as AI-native competitors emerge, with 90% of enterprise value potentially shifting from people to software/data/systems over the next ten years.
JUNIORANALYST— Junior analyst and junior banker roles face structural obsolescence as AI models become capable of performing their core functions reliably, with models now able to handle tasks that previously required human analysts when given proper instructions and context.
