think I had a quick look at your bio, and the 2 things that really stood out to me. One is that you've been with Third Avenue since the year 2000, which I was I'm incredibly envious. So how did you get you got there straight out of college? I
did. I did. Elementary school, it looks like.
That's flattery, but, and I'll take it. But but I I graduated from college in in 1999. It's it's actually been an amazing ride. The the most formative years of my career, I think, were the were the were the earliest ones right in the, you know, the heat of the dotcom bubble. And it was an incredibly confusing time to start working at a what was then a very sleepy fundamental value firm and, you know, some not so flattering things were being said about the principle of this firm, Marty Whitman himself.
