And, yeah, looking forward to giving a bit of an overview of of this year and what we can kind of expect going into 2025. So, Joe, perhaps you can kick it off. We've given us the super high level, you know, what's happened this year, where do we sit, how's gaming, kinda performing relative to other sectors, and, yeah, any excitement of the year and a
man. So towards the end of 2023, we had a series of fairly successful gaming token launches. I think big time, Shrapnel, and PIXELS were probably, some of the standout winners. Unfortunately, that that attention kind of drained out a little bit during, or throughout q 1 this year, and we've kind of just, yeah, plateaued into a bit of a a bit of a lull with other sectors namely meme coins and and AI, outperforming gaming. I think one of the standout, predictions from last year's report that stuck with me, was this idea of there being like a fight for player liquidity. The idea that we have way
I mean, Joe does a a great job of making it all seem very somber out there, of course. But, yeah, I know there's been there's been some excitement this year. So maybe Duncan, Hunter, and and also Joe, would would love to hear from each of you, like, even just a quick snapshot shot of, like, positive surprises from the year. Right? Like, there's still a hugely engaged builder audience here and people that are very, you know, passionate about this space. So, yeah, would love to would love to understand from each of you what was, like, a positive surprise that stood out this year. Yeah.

I think they have a top tier web 2 team that came together to build something in web 3. They've taken a careful approach. They didn't launch just into a hype narrative or whatever. They actually prioritize building

For me, like, I'm paying attention to essentially the builders who are like going out there and trying to get, I want to call them like entertainment driven users, right. So I'm looking at the guys over at rift storm. They're working on this rogue, like, which in terms of like a genre fit for web 3, I still have a lot of questions about, but they went out and they activated like 800 streamers, 800 content creators for their last game. I'm looking at Bornless. I met them at Gamescom. Their booth was, it had people all around lining up all around the booth for the entirety of the of the conferen
Awesome. I'd love to hear that. And, Duncan, curious from from your side as well, just touching kind of like the investing and and funding dynamics. I know you've been digging into numbers a lot. Is there anything, in terms of a high level overview you can give us of like yea
