all Let's get let's get into actually, people some people don't know as well. We Delphi maybe wouldn't be here without Synthetix, actually. Because it was the it wasn't the first investment in the fund, but it was the pre investment that allowed us to make the first investment in the fund. So I think we did. We wrote the report August 2019 or something and then we just got we were so bullish. Synthetix is like our first kind of big altcoin win, I think, that we sort of size and everything and then that was what gave us the money to make the 1st investment into the into our fund without which,
I appreciate that. I I think there's, you know, a few people floating around. I mean, it's like Eathland or or, you know, Maker or whatever. Right? Like, there weren't that many things that came out of that bear market that did well. And so, you know, if you were high conviction and had one of them, you sort of have an origin story of, like, this this DeFi token kind of, you know, made made me. Right? You know? I think there's there's people like Arthur 0X, you know. Yeah. Even Kyber, there was like Djenspartan. Djenspartan. You know, there's there's a bunch of people, and, you know, same thin

I I I we got off the call and I was like, do those guys like all live in the same room? Like what's what's going on over there? And you know, you guys were grinding hard. You were, you know, you were deeply diving into all of this stuff and you're particularly synthetics and I think that call, you know, we were sort of blown away by how much you understood what synthetics was, you know, not that many people were really digging into the mechanism design and a lot of that stuff and you guys had and so, you know, one of those things where I guess pays off, right? Yeah. Pays to pay attention and d
Yeah. No, those guys were living in a 3 bedroom in New York and then Piers and I would visit and we'd sort of take the owl or the owl couch as well. So this is just like pretty, pretty horrific vibes back then, but yeah. Yeah.
