remember, honestly, like, coming out of my room with a a printed paper and waving and being like, Kristen, you you can't believe you can't believe what happened. Like, they they found a way they found a way to turn all of the Internet into training data. I couldn't shake for my my my head, from my soul, from my bones, honestly, what was going to happen.
Jack left. Prog took over. Elon made a bid to buy Twitter. The week before Elon actually bought Twitter, we just had the sense that something was gonna happen. The deal was probably gonna go through, and we were like, we've we've gotta put out an app. So we just threw up a landing page and said, hey. You know, we're gonna build an app on the app protocol. It's called Blue Sky. Same name as the project. Check it out if you want. And we just got, you know, hundreds of thousands of people signing up immediately. I
begged the open air guys. Like, please please extend the NDA to include the exact team. So I remember getting up in front of them. You're like, I know we have an agenda. I know we're supposed to talk about hitting these sales targets. We're just gonna put that all away. And I wanna show you guys something that's on the blow of your minds. This
notion of smart contracts and all the things that you can do with them is is very well understood. But back then, I think it was maybe a little bit little bit less. Nobody
thought it would work. I mean, this is a thing too. Like, I'm very happy to, like, hop in and be fully committed when No one thinks it's gonna work. Thinks it's gonna work at all.
Every new wave, first, the tools extend our workflow, then they change our workflow. I
like to think that the best technology is the tech that that makes us more human and makes us more like humans and less like robots. One
idea is that your base layer is very simple, and the other is that your base layer might be more complex. I think this is where the Muneeb school of thought and the Batelic school of thought, like, diverges.
