I'm personally not too worried about Solana. I think the the golden age of Solana, you know, has happened. And from from now on, I think, the the high performance applications can can come to to Ethereum. My
take is that the big, big problem is interoperability, and I don't see a solution, to that for the current state of of roll ups simply because they are very heterogeneous. Hi,

there's a lot of discussion and controversy nowadays about the roadmap for Ethereum. And there's, you know, been this backdrop this whole year about, you know, whether l twos have been parasitic to Ethereum. Obviously, people are watching the ETHBTC ratio just going down, hitting new lows, not seen since 2021. And meanwhile, there's also been this trend of Solana outpacing Ethereum on many metrics this particular cycle, especially price, but also just generally in terms of mindshare amongst newbies. So against that backdrop, DevCon took place in Bangkok a few weeks ago, and, Justin, you presen
Sure. So Ethereum is a very ambitious project, and in some sense, it's trying to do many different things. And one mental model that I have is that the l one is trying to provide the foundations for the incentive value. It's trying to be maximally robust and secure. It's competing for for moneyness. In some sense, it's competing with bitcoin. And then on the other hand, you have this other lane, which is a much faster lane, which is the L twos, which is trying to compete for growth, for user acquisition, for activity, for fee revenue. And in some sense, you could say that it's competing with S
Okay. So, Martin, obviously, we wanna hear your kind of view on what the problems are with Ethereum, but also in your response in your answer, you might even wanna respond to some of what Justin just said.
Yeah. So to me, the big problem that Ethereum is facing is losing its interoperability. And, essentially, what I'm what I'm seeing and what I'm concerned about is that those yeah. All the l twos all the roll ups that are popping up are really essentially separate chains. And, what what made Ethereum great and why people love to be on Ethereum is that there is activity. There is liquidity. There are, I don't know. There are all kind of protocols. And if you if you as a as a app developer kind of deploy on Ethereum, then you can already rely on having dexes, having money markets, having NFTs, ha
